So are we talking about just the Ceph from Crysis 2? Or the ones from Crysis 1 and warhead too?

Ceph lose to human's technology in about 20+ years further, while Convenant lose to human's technology in 2500+ AD.

Time period is irrelevant because they are effectivley played out in 2 different universes. In Crysis we have the nanosuit much earlier than Halo has anything of the sort, and aliens use bullet-like projectiles.

Covenant easily, they have spare faring armadas that can dominate worlds and come from multiple different races.
Their vehicles outmatch the cephs quite hugely, Scarab would walk over anything in Crysis 2(although vs the hunter it would be arguable which would win).

but yeah, the Ceph really wouldnt stand a chance.

Not enough evidence of the Ceph to really make a comparison. Remember, the Covenant have been pretty much explored to death.

their ship was crashed and had no visible weapons.

thats -2 points to their space armada already.

and tbh i dont think anything the ceph have would beat a halo hunter, hes basicly the devastator but his armour is invincible and he has a bigger, better gun. And brute leaders were tough as nails with their shields n armour, what ceph can touch one of them?

Sorry.....just no....the only time AI ever came close to being AI was when you were fighting WITH Elites...and that was only because they lived longer....

yeah imo halo 3/reach did have one of the best AI's around, and it was as buggy as the Ceph.

this isnt gonna become like the nanosuit vs spartan thread is it? where the gameplay you see is what defines it, cause if it is, Ceph would get wrecked! 50% of their population would run on the spot lol.

If Covenant wanted to "end" the Ceph, they would just glaze the planet until there was nothing left. The Ceph were beaten by a man in a supersuit. The Covenant is winning against a species of 50 billion people.

I don't think the Ceph could live under the Convy home planet (BTW Convenant is the name for religion it's a collection of many planets), because they raid the core of each planet looking for the Forerunner tech.

Could the Ceph defeat the Flood? Forerunner were meant to be the most advanced race in the universe and they had kill themselves and the entire universe to wipe out the flood.
