As we already know looted traits and enhancements will be a lot better than crafted ones. Some people say it's because they want to make us do dungeons instead of crafting everything without doing any end game. This of course makes crafting useless, like in every "grind your gear forever" MMOs.
But i have an idea which would make the crafters and the dungeon dwellers happy too! Simply just give us the ability to obtain crafting recipes for the best traits/enhancements/whatever but don't let us craft them with the random resources we find in the world. The materials for these high end items should only be obtainable from dungeons and bosses!
That way you need to do them just like if you would be doing it for looted items, you can make money by selling the materials for crafters and of course crafters can feel useful and make even more money by providing gear for everyone. With this every crafting skill tree would be needed and balanced because item crafters could make the best traits, consumables will always be needed and enchanters could make the best enhancements(gold for everyone!).
If anybody is complaining that "it will make getting gear a lot harder because you need to interact with others" then i can only say: it's an MMO and player interaction is needed but sadly it's mostly forgotten in modern MMOs.
If somebody already made a thread about this then i don't care, if you disagree then the lizard gods will destroy you but if you have a valid argument against the idea then share it!
