Which crafting style do you prefer, and why?
You know I didn't even think about NDA when I asked. Meh...NDA makes me sad.
NDA sorry and there are TONS of crafting styles not all of them racial either
NDA is now pushing up daisies, so we can discuss crafting.
I found it a bit clunky, but was able to construct armor. Didn't crack the nut regarding alchemy though.
As soon as the other types are discovered ill probably stick to whatever looks decent in game.
There will be Daedra types as well as other types discovered like Ancient Elf. Will attempt to find those types as soon as possible because they will likely look the best.
Did somebody manage tp find the Ancient Elf crafting style? I really like the Ayleids, so if anybody finds it, please notice me ASAP.
I'm going alchemy and enchanting.
Just because every mmo i do potion making, i think it's because i like being the whole mad scientist archetype > MUAHAHAHA
and enchanting because i figured a lot of people would pick blacksmithing, and well they'll need someone to enchant those right?! get their weapon to max potential
Crafting style as in which racial motive or which of the 6 crafting skill lines?
I will most likely go for blacksmithing, and enchanting for my redguard nightblade tank, and I hope to find at least the Orc racial motive for the heavy armor looks.
My breton sorcerer will get clothing and probably woodworking, and I hope to find the Bosmer racial motive for the cloth looks
Anyone crack the code on alchemy in beta? My toon collected all kinds of plants and such, but was unable to find an alchemy station.
There is an Alchemy Station in every settlement.
Heh, guess I just missed them. Had no trouble finding armor and cloth stations - even woodworking ones; but didn't find alchemy or enchanting stations. In Skyrim, they stuck out - didn't know what to look for in the beta.
While in a city, you can hover over an icon and see the services offered there and the name and profession of the NPCs bound to it. (WARNING! This feature is AWESOME!)
Also look to the banners on buildings, they give you a clue as well as to whether or not there is a crafting station in that building
Imperial, it just looks the most badass to me. though I really like the Ancient elf sword
I'm curious if the ability to morph gear to imperial style will carry over to the other styles. Guessing so but any official word?
im pretty sure that that ability is just a costume that you'll be given that you can place in the costume slot which goes over all armour you wearing, like the emperors armour. theres no point being able to morph random armour into imperial style when you already have the crafting style to do it yourself, and I saw no such mechanic implemented, even if disabled in the game.
This one prefers Khajiit gear, so as not to flatten its ears.
