Crash after Daily Report

Launch game, moments later Daily Report pops open. Game crashes at that point. Have rebooted and retried countless times with same result. Unable to get past Daily Report so am unable to play any further. Hope there is a solution here.

  • Just update over the old build

  • Allowed the store to auto-update

Can't play the game due to crash 5 seconds after loading game..Third day although I was able to play for 10 min 11/8 when I unclicked save to cloud and started new vault.. Tried both on my iPhone 6 plus and ipad 1..

I have a similar issue but even if I close Daily Report without collecting, once I do anything the game crashes.


I really am beginning to wonder if anyone from Bethesda monitors the forum. I've been complaining about this issue for over a week. When I tried to email support, their response was to post here. I've been unable to play. I WAS going to purchase Fakkout 4 for PC but after such a lack of support I've changed my mind.


Oh. WARNING! Do not delete the game and reinstall. I though that since the vaults are stored on the cloud and I kept files in Gamecenter I would be able to continue with my existing vaults. NOPE! All my vaults are gone.

Same issues as other users report. Yesterday (9 Nov) crashing and shutting off when opening vaults. Reloaded app, updated etc... Still cannot access vaults. For user above who reports lost vaults, I had same issue and had to re-tool my iCloud settings, and tap cloud buttons of the "new vault" slots when new app reloaded. (iPad Air) Eventually, after a few tries, software updates, cloud adjustment etc... The vaults return if you had cloud save enabled.


I will say the following: when emailing support, I would call the response exceptionally presumptuous- and I am being polite here. Suggesting to a paying customer who has repeated issues with a faulty product that the customer look to other customers in the forum for help... Well, that's pretty tacky. The app is flawed. Period. It freezes. It crashes. It requires regular reloads and a silly amount of time to get it to work. The issues are widespread, genuine, and annoying. Bethesda really ought to take this seriously and provide continuous info to th in customers....if they wish to keep those customers.


The info a customer requires to use this app SHOULD be provided by Bethesda. The information should be updated DAILY and it should not require 5 different steps to even begin an attempt at a fix or work-around. Users are trying to have fun and paying for this... And OTHER customers are not responsible for providing tech support.

Same problem, since November 9,2015 I have not been able to get past daily stats before the game freezes and closes.

Please fix, I want to get some lunchboxes.

Well... I'm glad I'm not the only person encountering this. Especially all around the same time. I was fine ever since launch, but now even after uninstalling and rebooting I just crash after a few minutes. The ONLY guess I had was I had a Dweller taking weeks to return and I think he's FINALLY returned. He glitched out earlier because I had stopped playing for a month while he was in the wasteland, supposedly that nets you some crazy amount of rare items or something and skips the 50 item limit maybe?


Anyways, same situation as everyone else, the game crashes within moments of loading. Even if I do absolutely nothing it just stutters and then crashes. Here's hoping they fix this soon.

In refusing to even acknowledge a problem, Bethesda is hoping folks will assume eventually the app will work again... Thus we do not demand a refund because we are waiting. Personally, I am pretty fed up with not getting an answer to even one legitimate question I have asked, so waiting seems less sensible as time goes by.


There is a serious glitch. Bethesda should admit this.

What is being done? When, if ever, will it be remedied? These questions should have been answered already.

The longer they play around, the better, easier, and more appropriate a refund sounds.

This recently started happening to me. I played the game fine yesterday afternoon, then later on in the evening it would crash a few seconds after my Vault loaded. I've rebooted and such, except delete and reload the app; I don't want to lose my Vault.



I'm on an iPad 4 running iOS 9.1

Seems to me that the crash occurs simultaneously with Mr. Handy doing his auto-collecting routine. Appears that the Daily Report pops up and as soon as I hear the sound that Mr. Handy makes when collecting resources, the app crashes. Bethesda is seemingly ignoring this issue - seems they believe it is a saved game issue which is not their issue. Really unfortunate to invest so much time (and money) into a game only to have it crap out. Bad form Bethesda!

I first reported the crash on the 9th, and despite numerous idiotic responses from Bethesda (including their redirection to this pointless forum), it's been well over a week with no change in the function of the app...which is to say that the game will not work.


Since there has been no attention in the forum from Bethesda to the existence of the glitch, and since all communication from them demonstrates intentional pretense of ignorance of the problem, I am going to have to assume it's refund/app deletion time. If they will not even acknowledge the problem which clearly numerous users have reported, then I would say that the possibility that it will be fixed is remote at best.

Bethesda hasn't even responded to this thread. I'm furious, they have a format to report a problem but then do absolutely nothing to fix them.
