Crash after "Six Years Later" Movie

Post » Sun Jan 10, 2010 12:53 am

Hi all;

I have Fallout 3 on Windows XP with all the DLCs, updated to the latest version and using the unofficial patch. I DO have a number of mods installed, and I realise my problem COULD be one of them, but I'm hoping it isn't;

The problem I'm having is that in the prologue, my game is CTDing without any error message immediately after the "Six Years Later" movie. The movie will end, and for a few split seconds I'll see Dad looking at me down his medical scope thingie, I'll hear the sound of some items being unequipped, then it'll crash.

Umm... so... help, I guess? Any ideas what the problem could be?
