So I updated to 1.3 on my iPod 5th gen, note that when the game couldn't load, I could reboot my device and everything was hunky dory again. But this time I reloaded it, it would not load the only vault I played. I soon realised it was the App Store updated it for me. Anyways it was definitely updated to 1.3 because when I created a new vault, the wasteland looked snowy. If someone is experiencing this, please, please comment down below how you crashed and if you may even be able to fix it.

Latest update, 1.3 (snow/pets)


I have 2 well-developed vaults. The more-mature, non-survival vault loads fine. The survival-mode vault began to experience problems after 8 children were born upon opening. After that initial crash, the game would crash automatically after 5 seconds. I tried returning my wasteland explorers one at a time by clicking return on the fist one in the list and then quickly closing to the main menu. After successfully completing that task in 5 seconds, I have been unable to open the game at all.


My immediate fear is that in a matter of hours all my best dwellers out in the waste will be dead. My greater fear is that there will be no way to open that vault again.

I just reported no crashes whatsoever until I got someone pregnant and/or had dancing announcements/confirmations.


My current game crash is now at 1 second (like yours, it used to be at 5 seconds).


Fortunately it's not a Survival vault. But every time I open it, it drains the resources which I can't collect. So now if I open it, it will start killing dwellers through lack of food and water.

My game just crashes when u try to load vault.
