Hello, I recently bought Fallout 3 Game of the Year Edition off of steam, and I loved this game! I use to play it all the time on my Xbox. However, it seems the game is extremely annoying to function on my computer. It seems I crash whenever I hit an NPC with anything (Guns, melee, etc..). It really makes me upset since it's one of my favourite games to play. What irritates me is my PC can easily handle the game at max settings (I have New Vegas at max settings with some HD mods).
My specs are as follows..

I have heard of many fixes, I have tried many. The current fixes I have tried are the multi-core fix, Unofficial Patch from nexus, latest Official Patch from Bethesda, Stutter remover from nexus, Windows compatibility XP service Pack 3 fix, and possibly some more. I am currently playing on Vanilla, with the Unofficial, and Official, and all DLCs. Once again, this is a legitimate copy off Fallout 3 Game of the Year Edition from Steam. I have read some other fixes too that hoped to have worked (Desktop Composition, Move to C:/games, etc..) with no success. Does moving the whole Fallout 3 out of the programs x86 make a differernce compared to installing it? I just moved it as I have a slow download speed and already have reinstalled it more than once.
Any help would be great, thank you!
