CRASH, CRASH, CRASH

Post » Fri Dec 31, 2010 2:27 am

I am playing the single player ATM. I just got to the part where the sphere tower turns white and kills all the squids. The next scene shows Gould telling the people that they where derailed and that I need to get to Prism, when the screen goes black the game crashes. I have unistalled and reinstalled the game and at the same spot CRASH.

Is there a fix for this?

I've got the same issue. After the mission where the nanosuit recodes and destroys squid, and you crawl to the helicopter Gould briefs you and the game crashes. I have the game crash log saved if needed. The system is pretty new install, win7 64bit with an i7 2600k cpu and 8gig ram. Internet connection is stable, purchased the game from steam and it's run flawless until now.

This was happening on the retail version as well, so it's not necessarily steam related.

I can restart the game, and play multiplayer just fine. System is up to date. Each time i go to resume game, I have to start at the recode portion of the mission as it doesn't seem to save the check point.

Hope this helps.

dude just update ur drivers or buy some more RAM or check ur CPU temps... this game uses quite all of ur CPU power which can get pretty ugly for ur CPU if u dont have suficient enough cyclone in ur rig :) just to mention what i mean... my CPU is OCed at 3.5 ghz and Crysis 2 tends to use 90-95% out of 100% which makes it run like 65 celsious (tho i have a stock cooler). Its still in normal operating perimeter but i dont know ab00t urs so check that... OR check ur GPU temps. If ur crashing at certain point and no1 else had any crash of this sort it means its at ur end buddy^^
