Hi guys,

Basically, what initially happened is that my game wouldn't even start properly. I just have a black green with a blue loading bar and my game just stops. I was advised that this was most likely a resolution issue, so I edited the .ini files and that was successful. My game actually started, but once I got to the cryogenic pod scene, my game crashed. Specifically, after my character awakens after the screen fades to white and coughs, my game crashes.

I uninstalled and then reinstalled the game. After I reinstalled it, the whole resolution thing no longer seemed to be a problem, but my game has consistently crashed every single time during the early cryogenic scenes. Again, after the SPOILER: spouse is shot and the screen fades to white, my game crashes once he starts coughing.

I've tried the 'verify integrity of game cache' on steam, no success. Same with updating my graphics drives, no success. I've even updated the game after this week's beta patch came out. Nothing has worked.

Is this a resolution issue or something else?

Note: I am running a Windows 10, 64 bit x64 CPU with Intel 5500 HD graphics and plenty of free hard-drive space, plus the minimum 8.00 GB RAM.
