I've come back to Crysis 2 to play the campaign again. However, approximately 75% of the time, I'll complete a level, it will play the wire-frame video briefing for the next level, and then crash. This crash can also happen sometime when I quit to the main menu.

I'm patched up to 1.9 now, but I haven't played the campaign since about patch 1.4 I think, or thereabouts so I can't be sure what patch will have started this problem.

Does anyone else have this problem? There is absolutely nothing irregular about my computers temperature or hardware and re-installing Crysis 2 did not fix the problem.

Any ideas?

If anyone was interested, I fixed this problem by grabbing the latest Nvidia drivers.
