Crash every other startup : IV

Ok im still having crashes, though now they are very random and in deactivating all mods that dont make my savegames crash on load (all except things like fcom and the like) i still can not figure out why i am crashing so much, i dont think its just the usual stability issues of the oblivion engine because they are a lot more frequent than a vanilla playthrough. Ive got the crash prevention system installed and it seems to have cut the crashes down by a bit, i can go a good 15-20 mins between crashes, and they mostly come at cell changes, or battles where there is alot of stuff going on. i cant for the life of me figure this out, could someone please give my mod list a skim through and let me know if there is somthing i may have overlooked?

oh and i have reinstalled fcom using the install guide on the fcom site, so i do not think that is the problem

also ive used the mod conflict detector utility, but im not sure how to make use of the info that it gives me, i can copy the massive list and post it here if it will help. but seeing as how it took me about a half hour to read through id rather not unless its necessary

ok quick update, i seem to have fixed the crashing issue, now ive got an issue where every container is missing its mesh, i know i need to download the fixed harvest containers mesh, but i cant seem to find a download for it.

Sounds like something's wrong with your OOO install, since that's got the H[C] meshes included in it.

I assume you did not install harvest containers saperately. OK, then did it work before you fixed your crashes? If so, what did you change/remove to fix your crashes? Logic follows that that would have caused your problem.

Are you using BAIN or OBMM to install mods? BAIN is much easier as OBMM does not always resore files which seems to be the problem here. However, re-installing OOO should have then fixed it but it did not. So are ALL containers missing meshes or just some?

If you use a utility like FormID finder you can look at the mesh and see what mod it is from. That would be the quickest way I think to find the problem. http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=16704

i thought i fixed the crashes by turning off streamline but the game is still crashing almost every other time i start it, i used obmm and i tried manually, neither worked, all barrels and crates are missing meshes from what i can tell, chests seems to be un effected, let me boot up ob and see which mod the meshes are from

the mesh is XMSharvestmiddlebarreltops so it seems that i was right and it is harvest containers

FormID would actually tell you the path and then you can check in your data folder and in your OOO folders you used to build the omod to see if the files are there.

I just looked at my OOO folder and it is there under meshes\harvest\containers\ so my advice would be to look at your original download or download again (using the FCOM page in these forumns for links).

too late already fixed the issue by downloading harvest containers and extracting the mesh and textures from the .bsa =p

That would be OOO_133_Complete and it definitely has the harvest container resources. So you don't seem to have the right version (perhaps only the OOO_134_Beta_5_Patch?). In short, you should probably double check your OOO install as applying the standalone HC to fix it probably doesn't resolve the underlying issue. As a general rule I'd say that issues like this indicates that the mod in question is wrongly installed (unless it's an alpha test release or something).

Is it unrecognised perhaps (although that seems unlikely). It just looks odd after Streamline. I didn't think anything went after Streamline. Try moving it up, maybe just after FCOM and its parts.

RenDisguises.esp is not in the BOSS Masterlist. Report it in the BOSS thread with a link to its Nexus page. Isn't it a sub-component of RGO now? Putting it right after TQP should work. It probably does not conflict with much that is in your load order, given its nature and the nature of the other mods you're using. Check Streamline though. If inconfigured properly, it can cause varying levels of oddities.

Edit: Do you have the DR5 hotfix installed?

yup i have the hotfix

after closer inspection of the sl ini, it looks like i did not turn fps smoothing off, as i have the stutter remover, so far no crashes.
