Getting a crash on random fire and frost spells. It's actually happened about 5-6 times. Most of them have been with the Fire Breath shout, but a couple were from a flame staff and a frost spell some enemy was about to do (crashed right before the frost effects started).

I do have the Deadly Spells Impact mod...anyone else getting crashes with that or the same type of crash?

Try it without any mods, see if it persists. If it doesn't, report it to the mod author.

I have this problem too, and the thing is it isn't just ME casting the spells that causes that crash, its also NPCS casting them too. Very problematic when I wander into a warzone between several mages

Turn down your gfx settings.

It's a RAM issue. I had it too. Until Beth provide a 64bit exe we're stuck with 4GB being the upper limit. It's so easy to hit that upper limit that you'll frequently get crashes/freezes with high rez texture mods, and Deadly Spell Impacts is a common offender. I downgraded to the low rez version of DSI and that helped alleviate a lot of my issues. Still happens from time to time though.
