Hi guys, I was suffering from random crashes every 10-15 minutes and it was driving me nuts. I did a couple things that might of helped because ive been playing for hours tonight without a crash.


First thing I did was get rid of that d3d9 .dll file that was rumored to help with the frame rates.

The second thing i did was edited my .ini file. Follow the directions on this page. its #15 on the list http://segmentnext.com/2010/10/19/fallout-new-vegas-errors-crashes-freezes-fixes/

I had to use the "iNumHWThreads=1" because my game was still crashing.

If this helps anyone with their problem i will be happy.

I'm going to go give these things a try and see if it gets rid of my crashes and I'll report back.
