This happens to me every night?! I dont now why and its so random.
Dont have this problem with anything else bad company 2, Left 4 dead 2, and I really dont see this issue related to my system!

happend for me in singleplayer first day I played it.
only ones.
But since last weekend I been having this every night. I havnt changed anything with my system.

As I mentioned in one of the other topics you posted this in, check on your harddrive light when this happens. I have this issue with a few other games, and it tends to happen when my harddrive is in use. It may be a faulty harddrive.

The difference is that with mine the sound for the game "stops"
and loops very rapidly making it sound odd. I'm not ure if sound from other applications continues, since I've never run them, but basically same issue. it's very random though. sometimes I can play for a couple hors and it's fine, others it runs for 2 or 3 minutes then freezes.

Yeah the sound loops for me to. What you here is my brothers sound from hes game!

Sorry i didn't get back to you. When the game lags, does your indicator flicker rapidly? If so, it's a harddrive issue, like mine is.

If it's a full on freeze, it may be driver or hardware related.

You still have sound, does not seem to be looping, soooo this could be a driver crash?
Try to update or downgrade your drivers?

The sound is from my brothers game(speakers on skype..).
As I mention on youtube describe I only hear the ceph gunship looping.

Changing hard drives did nothing for me. ran it on 3 seperate hard drives on the same PC. as for it being a hardware issue... seriously? I know it's a hardware issue... that's why it's only happening to a few people... allmost all of the Crysis 2 bugs are hardware or database related... give me a break... I have the newest GeForce and NForce drivers.
My hardware is on my profile if you want to see it... The issue is exactly what happened there in that guys video, except that I don't have sound from background applications since I don't run them. you just hear the sound rapidly (~1/3 of a second intervals) loop.

Possible troubleshoots for you...

Are you OCed?
Overheating?
Update Video/Audio Drivers.
Is your RAM faulty? (Probably not this but you can run Memtest+ if you want to be sure)

Could be anything, and probably IS linked to your system.

System's not OC'd unless it may be factory OC'd;
not overheating, sitting at 65C which isn't terrible for my comp. game isn't really that demanding;
Video drivers are updated, but can't find drivers for my sound card online so it's using the ones on the disk;
ram's fine, actually checked it last week since I had been using it as a ramdisk for a minecraft server for a while.

it shouldnt matter

I have unlocked my 6950 to an 6970 but that shouldnt have any effect on games.
It sure didnt have on Bad company 2 and Left 4 Dead 2.

Describe to me have the game can lock my keyboard?! And how a hardware failure can cause problems only in one specific game? And only ones during singleplayer and later on (1 and half week later on in multiplayer)

I've tried two specific AMD drivers.
The sound drivers really?...
