I've struggled with my mage character to find out why its crashing at level 29.

but so far turned up blank.

seeing as how there has yet to of been a reply, I will take the time to note a few things that could help others, but first, let's try elimating what the cause MIGHT be.

Try turning off every mod and loading your game, hit level 29 and see if it crashes. If it doesn't, that cause cross of Oblivon being faulty. Now try turning on mods in a set group at a time and repeat the above step, when you encounter a problem, starting, one at a time, in the last set of mods you activated turn them off to locate which mod is causing the problem. (this is how I resolve my problems...though I have about half as many mods as you, so it's less tedious)

Now that trouble shooting is over, why don't you list in detail what exactly happens, and give us a little info to work off of here...right now all we know is that you crash on a wizard file at 29. Does it happen right after you click confirm after selecting your attributes to level, or does it happen right as the new level splash screen pops up? or does it just randomly happen AFTER you hit 29 in any general place or time?

We aren't there, physically, around you, so the more detail you give about the problem, the more we might be able to offer in helping.

The very first thing you need to do is fix that. The AnwolfRace.esp file is out of order. I don't know if that would affect your ability to level, but I doubt it helps things in general.

It crashes after I hit the confirm the confirm button.


And yes I've tried disabling Oblivion XP (most likely candidate) but that doesn't help.

Is this your only savegame, or an autosave? Try starting a new character and leveling it to level 2.

Do you have any console codes, mods, or various other cheats active that could be affecting your attributes and skills?

I somehow managed to narrow it down ot the Necromancer.

What does TES4Edit show? I should be affecting something in a bad way...
