Aside from the brief outbreak of floating people, I've had few technical issues with Fallout Shelter. However, this morning I suddenly found myself unable to get to the Objectives screen. I had been playing for about an hour, completing objectives without incident. I'd just finished "collect 10800 power," and when I pressed the Objectives button on the right menu bar, the game paused for a second, then crashed. Since then I've tried to reach the Objectives screen a dozen times, either from the menu bar or the progress pop-up, and every time it has crashed.

Also, and this is a suggestion, not a bug, but I'd really like to see the progress pop-up placed somewhere other than over the Rush button. Thanks!

Update: Still unable to reach the Objectives screen some 14 hours later. Since then, I've completed a couple of objectives, but neither of them cleared whatever is causing the crashes. Furthermore, while my Daily Report appeared on schedule, tapping the Objectives tab from that screen triggered another crash.


I cannot determine the nature of the hidden objective that I was assigned when the bug first occurred. I have tried everything I can think of, but nothing triggers the progress bar for that objective. I believe that the only remaining possibility would be "deliver X babies," and I've got a test bun in the oven as I write this. However, since the update I hadn't received a single objective related to dancing/pregnancy/birth, presumably because I have 190+ dwellers in my main vault.


Note that my other, smaller vault is unaffected. I can reach that Objectives screen without a hitch, and recently received/completed a "deliver X babies" objective.

I also have this problem since about 2 weeks ago. Whenever I try to open my objective window it willl crash. I have powered off my Ipad Air for a over an hour and still no avail. I have 200 dwellers with more than 150 of them with all max stats. My objective are updating but only when I try to open the objective windows does it crash. I hope there is a fix or repair for this.

Okay, I'm glad to see I'm not crazy. I've only been playing this game since yesterday and had this happen with my first vault. That being said, I only have 22 dwellers by comparison. I have gone through the same steps trying to figure out the problem, mainly "if it doesn't work, turn it off and then back on." No dice. As I am not as far into the game, I will try starting with a new vault and letting this one go... but not thrilled to do so.

Same exact thing happened to me and a lot of people as it seems. I noticed that I received my "Daily Report" at the same time I completed an objective and then attempted to open the screen from the menu bar. I think this may be linked to the Daily Report.

Edit: I just logged in and received my Daily Report reward and I didn't think to flip it to objectives to test if it would let me see them. I tried from the menu and the app crashed.

To the extent that misery loves company, I'm glad to learn that it's not just me. The problem persists on my main vault. I have yet to determine the nature of the mystery quest that spawned this bug. I receive my daily reports, and still acquire new quests when I manage to complete one. However, attempting to reach the objectives screen by any means, including the progress button and the daily report, crashes the game.


Hope that whatever is causing this can be fixed without me losing the vault I've spent weeks building up!
