game launches, all settings at lowest possible setting. full screen or windowed does not matter. i hit play from here the screen turns black and a popup saying that fallout4 has stopped working. im confident its not due to a windows update for 2 reasons:

1 - i could not get it to work before or after updating (i thought that my operating system not being up to date could be a cause)

2 - others with the problem reported the screen being black and the game running in the background. this is not the case for me. the game never runs in the first place.

here are my specs

Graphics Card - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260

processor - Intel core i5-2500k

ram - 16.0 GB

OS - windows 7 Home Premium 64bit

The game only supports DX11 or better video cards. Your GTX260 does only dx10. Need to upgrade the video card.

Dude your system is seriously suffering with that video card. You need to upgrade, for the love of all your games.
