Since this is my first post, I'll start off by saying hello. Now that that's out of the way, let me get to my problem. Last night while playing the game, the battery on my phone died, when i plugged it in, turned it back on and tried to launch the game, it just crashed at the "Please Stand By" screen. I've tried rebooting, and recovery mode rebooting, and it has done nothing. I don't want to reinstall the application, as i have spent money and I don't want to lose what I've bought, along with my save. Anyone else in the same boat? Device for reference is Samsung Galaxy Note 4, Android Version: 5.1.1

Same here, I have sent them an e-mail and made posts about this but no luck so far. I would suggest keeping the game on your device untill they hopefully patch the bug.

tengo el mismo problema. Tengo la partida guardad pero a la hora de cargarla se cierra la aplicación. Tambien gaste dinero y me da rabia perder todo los progresos.

Same for me here after my battery died and I plugged my phone back in it just keeps crashing on that screen after the bethesda logo rolls. I'm on Galaxy s5

Having a similar issue. Game randomly stopped during play, which I originally chalked up to my cat knocking into my phone as he jumped on me. Now I crash at the Please Stand By screen, before the button to enter your vault appears. I'm highly disappointed at this. Left a Note on Google play and now this.


Device is an LG Optimus L90, running Kit Kat 4.4.2, on T-Mobile network, USA.

Alrighty, here's an update: yesterday got a generic looking email from support at Bethesda, did what it suggested: contact google for a refund. Also replied to the support email they sent and I got sent THE EXACT SAME EMAIL. They don't care, looks like they don't even read the questions submitted under the Contact Us - Ask Us a Question - Submit a question to our support team.

Well, at least i got a response from google, and got my money refunded. I'd still like if they were to actually fix the application. I hope Fallout 4 works better than this at launch, even though to compare a mobile game to a "real" game is unfair.

The game auto saves right? Could it just be when your phone died it happened to be when the game was saving thus resulting in a corrupted file?

So then when the app is loading the save, it can't because well it's corrupted. Resulting in the app crashing

Sure, that's an acceptable explanation, except for that I can't even get to the screen where you select a save, game crashes a few seconds after the Bethesda Softworks screen. I've uploaded a video to gamesas with my original support ticket showing the problem, but considering i got the same generic response both times, they didn't even look at it.

Delete the saved data from your settings and the app should run fine again. Just make sure you don't just close the app and save and quit to the title screen first

It svcks they can even post here but they're looking into it working on it a patch is on the way anything they make millions off of this currently don't give a crap about supporting it


I'm still waiting to hear that it is for sure corrupt and cannot be corrected so until then I'm not touching a thing but it was sure it would help if we could hear something current about the problem and I'm pretty sure fallout 4 is going to have bug after bug after bugs like Fallout 3 did

My game has been crashing with as little as 10 seconds into the game (Moto G v1).

I've been putting up with it in hopes of the next patch fixing it.

Now my game won't load and renaming the save file allows me in.

Guess I'll be filing for a refund for the Mr Handys that I bought and starting over.

Why can't they even have any logging (the folder is empty) so that when it does crash, there is a way to determine the problem?

I'm on a moto g too and it runs fine for me, I just think its simply down to people not exiting the game properly because I had this exact problem. Started again and been exiting to the main menu before closing the app and not had a single problem, and I had brought some boxes and Mr Handy's too so I know the frustration.

Kind of hard to exit normally with random CTDs happening
