Hi there,
I am unable to play FO4. I launch the game from steam, Fallout4Launcher.exe opens, I select "PLAY", the launcher closes, steam reports "Preparing to launch Fallout 4", at which points it just reopens the Fallout4Launcher window.
I have:
- verified the integrity of the local files in steam
- deleted and re-downloaded the game multiple times
- gave admin rights to both the launcher and the game exes, and compatibility modes
- all variants of graphics settings and full screen / window / border modes
- installed the beta patch
- removed the beta patch
- updated all drivers
- clean install drivers
- done selective startup with everything turned off
- scouted your and valve's forums
all with no success.
I have comented in other similar posts, and contacted Bethesda twice loggint this issue. So far nothing from Bethesda, and no luck with any proposed solutions.
