a crash when entering castle volkihar : V

hi everyone.

i have played this recent playthrough up to lvl 46 and now i decided to tackle dawnguard, however after i save serana and i try to enter castle volkihar - the game CTD immediately.

since i dont want to hang around with serana until i solve that issue i need to refrain from starting dawnguard until i can (somewhat surely) know that the game won't crash.

here is the mod list i have. i hope someone can advise me on what can be done so the game doesnt CTD

Have you tried to install the unofficial patch for skyrim and Dawnguard as well ???

That's quite a bit of mods. Have you used BOSS to sort your mods into the correct load order?

If that doesn't work you may want to do a trial and error by disabling your mods one by one or in small groups at a time to find the one that is causing the problem. It can be a bit troublesome, but that may be your only bet. If you try that, be sure to reload a clean save as disabling mods on an existing save game can cause problems.

i havent tried the unofficial patches. i will.

but i HAVE tried disabling mods. i disabled them in groups of 10 but no one of these attempts with less mods got me through

and no. i never touched boss.... i think the only mods in there that need sorting are equipment mods and i dont think these can cause a CTD like that.
