I'm working on a mod and I've encountered a really frustrating bug. Whenever I load a cell it works fine, except for the one damn cell I want to work with! Whenever I load my bar cell the GECK just closes, no error, no nothing...it's just gone!
I have no idea what's going on, so I hope some of you do.
You probably have a stray reference - an object that no longer exists in the game files (or was renamed), but that your cell still thinks is there. You get a null pointer, instant CTD.
CJ577 has the same advice I would offer, load that puppy up in FO3Edit and it will give you any errors on missing files or out-of-place stuff.
Do you get the CTD both in the GECK and In-Game as well? Or is this Only a GECK crash?
