Anyone have this issue: EVERY TIME I enter the bunker and meet the Brotherhood dude, I strip down and BAM! Game crashes.

Avoid that situation by doing as said below.
Spoiler warning, it shall skip this bug but you will miss out in a section of content.

Spoiler
Gain Veronica as a companion, and bring her along to the BoS base. This will gain you straight access to entering the base, but will also make you skip a certain quest given by the Elder.
To gain Veronica as a follower, go to the 188 Trading Post and initiate in conversation with her. Following a certain dialogue, you'll be able to gain her as a follower.

That crash usually happens due memory to issues on removing all items, since the game has to quickly keep track of every item you have. It's particularly frequent if there are mod-added items as well. A way to get around is place all items you can on a nearby container and go empty handed, and if that doesn't work disable mods that add or change items.

Thank you very much. Your solution worked for me.

Thats one thing I hate about Fallout 3 and New Vegas: That there are to much items wich you don′t use! No wonder the game had to crash some time.
