Game crashes repeatedly after loading seq. Cannot play. iPad mini, iOS 8.3.

Try rebooting your iPad, hold home and power in at the same time until you see the apple logo and then let go and try it again.

Rebooting doesn't fix this.

Same issue on my iPad mini. Rebooting the device is the only way I can get in if my dwellers have had a baby, and even then it's only a temporary solution.


I've killed the app, I've power cycled the device, and I've done at least three soft resets. Still, half the time the game crashes on the loading screen or just after.


The graphics are mighty beautiful, and they work gloriously on my iPhone 5s, but the lag alone on my iPad mini is nearly unplayable..... when I can get in to the game at all. A low-res mode with fixed perspective and some of the animations removed (namely the ones that don't even appear onscreen half the time) would be a godsend.

Same here on my iPad Air.

It randomly crashed and when I tried to restart, it lets me pick the vault but crashes about 30 seconds after starting the loading animation.

I had 33 dwellers. I've tried restarting, etc. Nada.

Very sad right now. My dwellers need me.

Edit: I just read that bought lunchboxes stick with the vault you bought them under. So either I need a way to fix this or I want a refund! Grrr

I have an iPad mini updated to the latest software,

But after choosing my vault, and about 30 seconds of loading it just shuts off and goes back to the home screen, it's so infuriating as I really enjoy this game and need this to be fixed

I have the exact same issue as http://www.gamesas.com/user/951322-kanyehobbitkind/ with my Ipad mini. And every time I try getting back in, it says the previous vault I created isn't there. So each time, I'm creating a new vault.

I'm having same issue... Plz fix this, it's very frustrating!!

If u don't have an iPad 2nd generation u can't play it...the requirements are on a sticky in this forum, iPad 1 ur toast, iPhone 4 toast...they don't have the ram to support the app...so get a new iPad mini latest generation and u'll be good to go.

I have an iphone 6 and I'm still having this issue. Since this morning I see the loading screen and then it crashes to my homescreen.

Same here. iPhone 6 iOS 8.3 and cannot get it to work. Tried restarts, reinstall, and resets, all to the same end result.
