Crashes After Start

Can anyone here help me with an issue with Fallout New Vegas and Fallout 3. Steam is taking forever to even start a reply to my ticket so I thought here would be a good place to ask for help.

I run them both in compatibility mode for Windows XP SP 3 and they refuse to work. When I launch from the launcher, the game just exits, no error, no nothing. When I start it from the .exe in the folders, I get the error (0xc0000005).

My PC has ran these games before running them perfectly, but I just recently installed them again and this is happening. I have no clue what to do. :/

I've tried all the .ini file stuff, reinstalled it multiple times, took off Aero when trying to start it and took off my second monitor and nothing seems to work. Skyrim works perefectly fine, but it's Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas that fail. This is a completly vanilla version, no mods at all. All my drivers and etc are up to date as well so this whole situaiton is baffling me. I know Fallout 3 wasn't made for Windows 7, but hell, wasn;t New Vegas? This is just bogus because it's worked before, but I uninstalled it for a system cleaning I did way back of games I never played anymore. Now I wish to play it and it fails. :/ Thanks for reading and any help would be great.
