This game has been a crashfest ever since I got it. I updated my graphics drivers (they even mentioned this game in the notes) and it seems to work a little better but still randomly crashes and, to make it worse, it seems to crash the whole PC making me totally reboot after each crash ( the graphics in windows get all funky and then just blanks out after I hit End Task)
Something I've noticed though, 1 file fails to validate even after several tries and steam saying it's done downloading. Could this be the culprit? No problems with any other games including Fallout 3.

In regards to the 1 file validation, Civilization V does the same thing, so it's probably something Steam related and doesn't affect the game.

To add more, Both FNV and Civ V use Steam Cloud for saving support, and have the 1 file validation problem where other games do not. So it's probably a Steam Cloud issue.

Ive noticed after crashes (to the desktop) some file will fail validation. Itll download the file, then ill start up the game and play untill it crashes again. Then same thing, 1 file failed validation.
