Hi all,

I cannot play crysis 2 PC at all. I have persistant crashes ( not simple RTD, complete freeze of the PC which I need to reboot)

My config is weak but meet the minimum specifications. What is surprising is that I have crashes at the menu screen even before launching the game?? However I don't have crashes especially after having loaded a saved game.

My config: windows XP SP3, AMD triple core 2.4 Gh, RAM 3 G DDR2, Geforce 9500 GT, drivers nvidea of the 15/05/2012.

I play with all the setting at the minimum including screen resolution (800x600!), don't use DirectX 11 (not supported by my config) and didn't load the high quality texture pack.

I have already done what is recommended to avoid the crashes: defrag and cleaning the PC (including the registry base) with dedicated softs, update of the drivers, turn of all the other programs (including navigator and firewall), uninstal crysis 2 including the personnal data (saved games, profile..) and reinstal, free space on the hard disk, reinstal preventing the 1.9 patch to update.

I read on the net that the crashes may come from the exe file. Anyone have info (and solution;) about that?

I really don't know what else I can do and it get me sick because I wish I can play the game.

I can run without problems recent games: skyrim, mass effet 2, deus ex revolution with medium settings without any problem. However I have exactly the same problem with SWTOR.

Anyone can advice me something else to do?

Try running it in windowed mode, switch from fullscreen to window with alt+tab
Even if you could get singleplayer to work, you can't play multiplayer on that config, because I have little better config and I still can barely play it...
