I've played the game daily since launch, even put some money into it because frankly I've had a heck of a good time.


My goal was to have 200 dwellers with 100% happiness and full level/specials but after today, suddenly it just won't load. Upon loading my shelter, the loading screen animation just freezes after a while and eventually the app quits.


I've rebooted and made sure there's plenty of space (I've had several GB free for months), but to no avail.


What the heck do I do now, Bethesda?


IOS 8.4.1. iPad Air with over 4 GB of free space. No jailbreak.

Did you try the steps in http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1534650-how-to-retrieve-your-savegame-if-you-got-the-permanent-crash/? I found a way to retrieve a savegame of a vault and how to fix this permanent crash bug.

Let me know if it was of any help to you.

I managed to solve it by going to the vault list, loading another vault, deleting a third and then loading my main vault again.


Which of these steps that actually solved it I have no idea, but it works now.
