S o i recently decide to reinstall New Vegas as i had some time on my hands. I patched the game to the newest version and loaded it up; fine. I added NVSE, loaded it up; fine. However, when i add DARN, IMCN, Grenade hotkey, primary needs, and unified HUD my game instantly crashes. unchecking the mods does not help as it still crashes. maybe it has something to do with an edited INI? anyone been having similar problems? any help at all would be appreciated.

Check the FONTS entry very carefully in the INI and make sure all the actual Fonts are in the Fonts directory and the names exactly match.

i actually just checked and the ini had not been edited at all beforehand, so i went in and made the changes, but it still crashes before it even loads the second screen. anyway i can see that it has nothing to do with the ini changes, so i'm going to clean install and then see if just adding regular mods stops it from working. i dont understand why it isn't loading though.

Before you do that, rename the INI file to something else and let the game make a new one.

If that one works, then you can be sure that it is something to do with the INI file.
