I wanted to do a Minute Man quest, and Preston told me to go to Tenpines Bluff.

So, I got to Tenpines Bluff. Settler tells me raiders in Walden Pond are [censored] their [censored] and they need help. So I go on a MAGICAL ADVENTURE to Walden Pond.

Alright, so here's where the problem starts. i come across this ruined pre-war bridge, and there's a fort of Gunners (Four of them and a turret) sitting on the end of it, and under the bridge is a small camp with two guys. Mikey and Moss. I proceed to kill the Gunners, then go up to Mikey and Moss.

Here's what happened exactly:

-I immediately realized all sound in the game stopped working aside from Ambience. The sound of wind and general background noise was there, but footsteps, shooting, reloading, Pip-boy sounds, everything else was silent.

-I pressed "e" on Mikey to talk to him. He looked at me, but did nothing. His mouth didn't move, he didn't talk, no subtitles came up (which I had on). The game was still silent.

-I thought maybe it was just an area bug, skipped talking to either of them, and started to walk towards Walden Pond.

-As soon as I reached Walden, the game froze for two minutes.

-The game unfroze.

-The game crashed 12 seconds afterwords.

I reloaded the game, and loaded up a save from before the last save I had (I had a bug in Fallout 3 that was fixed simply by loading the save before the most recent one, I hoped maybe this would work)

I continued on the same past to Walden, killed the Gunners from long-range just like last time, went to Mikey and Moss. Mikey said something, then the game went silent again. I tried to talk to Mikey, the game froze then crashed.

I reloaded the game, and loaded up the same save as the second crash. This time I decided to completely avoid the bridge, going in from the North. I came across a raider shack, and killed a Raider. The sound went silent for a minute, then after that minute the Raider's "UGH" die sound and the sound from my gun were heard, as if delayed by a long amount. I continued to head to Walden and froze, then crashed.

I tried this same method once more, then tried to go through the bridge end without talking to Mikey or Moss twice. Same issues, it'd go silent, it'd freeze, it'd crash.

At one point, Mikey and Moss weren't there, and instead there were two people accusing some guy called "Jules" of being a Synth spy. I didn't see the other two people's names before I crashed. I don't think this info is relevant, but it could give some more location info.

Keep in mind, the bridge I am talking about was >>> NOT <<< a marked location. Which is why I haven't called it anything. I just know it was right next to Walden Pond, has an encampment with friendly NPCs, and there's some enemy Gunners on the bridge.

I am using a Lenovo y40 laptop with a Nvidia GeForce GT 750m graphics card (It works like a charm, please save the "lol ur gaming on a laptop" comments for another time) I have 8 GB RAM.

My CPU is an Intel Core i7-4700MQ 2.40GHz

I am using Windows 10.
