Hi so I have the goty steam copy of fallout 3 and windows 7, I have it running very well during game play turning a lot of features down much lower then my computer can handle just to have smoother experience while playing but as you can guess with my title almost every time I make a save it crashes the game and its making it nearly impossible for me to play.

I have looked high and low on the internet for a solution and have gone through every fix I can find and nothing is stopping the game from crashing, I have a few mods installed but they are all very minor changes to the base game (bigger pip boy light, no degrade weapons), nothing over 1Mb per mod and only 15 mods - I have no idea how to stop this from happening I just want secure a secure way to save - I turned auto saves off and used only manual saving but that did nothing, blowing myself up (which is suppose to be a miracle fix) didn't work so now all I have left is asking this forum.

My computer runs any other game I throw at it without issue including new vegas and I have done all the compatibility suggestions for windows 7 without fault - the game works great, I just cant save.
