» Mon Sep 08, 2014 3:42 am Hi, since I recently learned that crashing on saves is not supposed to be a normal thing, I figure I should ask about it.
It's gotten a lot worse in a strange way in my current game. I can play through and save well enough with no issues elsewhere, but if I sleep or wait, the game will crash during a save made afterwards. These are not autosaves but any saves. The Papyrus log ends after "VM has frozen" where the game would normally make the save and CTDs instead of thawing.
Any ideas?
It's not game breaking, I have a week of older saves to go back to in the next phase of testing to try and find out where this came from. But I would like to identify if possible the root cause so I don't let it happen again.
Everything is cleaned, Bash and Bashed Patch is up to date. Everything except the ten Steam Workshop mods are siloed off in the latest Mod Organizer. I haven't removed any mods from the save, although the LOOT order has changed quite a bit recently (example, Interesting NPCs had position 3D for the longest time but changed to 5D this week) and I'm wondering if that has changed things.
