Crashing on save

Post » Tue May 17, 2011 10:30 am

Out of nowhere the game is preventing me from saving anywhere, literally. If I quick travel anywhere but where I already am and try to save, at all, the game crashes. I'm assuming it's the mods because nothing else seems to be the reason, but I've disabled every mod that I can through the Fallout 3 loader but I STILL can't save. I can only save the game where I already am(where I was before it started locking up) but anywhere else is a no-go. And what seems like what's been happening is that this happened only right after I downloaded all the bullcrap from DC Interiors project. I need some help to fix this problem, thanks.

Have you used MasterUpdate on your mods yet? I was getting crashes while saving when I forgot to MasterUpdate my mods after updating a few of them, and it caused me to crash almost every time I tried to save. If you already have MasterUpdated your mods, post your load order for us to take a look at.

I don't know what MasterUpdate is.

Sounds to me like you have a corrupted save. I'm guessing this is on an autosave. Pretty common. You wouldn't happen to have an older previous save that you could use do you? That may solve it. Though, you may have to start a new game. It happens to everyone eventually.

This isn't the issue, it's happenning on all saves.
