I downloaded the G.E.C.K. for New Vegas, and upon opening the program, it crashed with the message:

"This application has failed to start because libvorbisfile.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix the problem."

Reinstalling yielded the same result.

The file you downloaded is not an installer, its the actual exe itself. You need to place that file in the Data folder of FalloutNV. (Steam/SteamApps/Common/Fallout NewVegas)

I did that, and I am still recieving the same message.

The correct path is: steam/steamapps/common/fallout new vegas

It goes in the fallout new vegas folder, not the data folder.

Arrgh, my bad! It is just the FNV folder, not data. I must have been tired whence responding to that. >.>
