This occured the day the Skyrim trailer released.
I had just got out of class and was feeling rather existential. Just then I remembered that the Skyrim trailer debuted today, but I forgot when. I look at my phone to check the time, it was 10:30. I quickly went over to the forums to see if it came out. As I went into the Skyrim section I noticed all the trailer threads, so I quickly went into one and found a link. (Avoiding any spoilers) My phone took me to YouTube and I stopped immediately; then horror struck. I was on 3G, the video was going to be grainy! It was bad enough I was going to have to watch it on my phone, but a grainy stream would have been :shakehead: . I opened my wifi settings and saw my schools network, but it was weak!
I quickly stormed into the closest building and began searching for the source of the signal. Like a mad man I rushed through crowds of people. I found it outside the teachers conference. I took a seat on the floor outside the room. Opened the video and paused it, allowing for it to buffer a bit. I did a quick survey of my surroundings. Two teachers noticed me they seemed worried by my frantic posture. I shot them my standard "you have nothing to worry about, I'm of pure heart, but please I have no time for any idol conversation I'm very busy" look.
It was time. I could barely control myself. Trailer plays. "You should have acted...", I was going to lose it! It was gameplay, gameplay!! I couldn't think straight. Then the protagonist performs his shout and I squealed. In a fraction of a second after the squeal I check my surroundings again. "Jeez I hope no one heard that" I thought, but a beautiful girl had. Well there goes any chance with her, but nothing to fret about now I had an agenda. As the trailer finished one thought filled my head, I had to see it in a larger format.
I ran outside and searched for any wifi leechers with laptops. I found a innocent looking gent and approached him. I jumped up on to the table he sat at. "You! I need to look up a video on that laptop" I asked. "No, get lost" he countered. "Here I will let you hold on to my phone in trade." "Well what do want to look up?", he asked. "The Elder Scrolls V" I answered. "Dude it's just a teaser" he ignorantly replied. "You naive fool allow me to show you the error of your ways" I scolded and then continued to show him the trailer.
As we sat no words were spoken, for non were needed. When the trailer closed he sat up and weakly spoke, "I have to tell everyone..." I stood and place my hand on his shoulder, "As fast as the wind can carry you, go now!" We shook hands and he bolted off. I looked to the sky and knew, soon I shall be in Skyrim, soon.
