Craziest thing you've done in your Skyrim hype.

I ran outside and screamed "FUS-RO-DAH!" into the winds to see if I was dragon born

Me too grows a beard.
Oh and I also did something else: I added subtitles at my language at the first trailer and uploaded it on youtube.

I keep trying to use the Special Edition Coin that came with Special Edition Oblivion.

Apparently, no one uses "Septims" in America.

So sad....

I've doodled a few people wearing a top hat with horns (like "viking" helmets) and holding two swords fighting a dragon.

But a few days ago, I was folding programs for a show with two of my girl friends* (and one other guy) and one of them said "A myth on MythBusters was that saying nonsense words instead of swears relieves anger better, but swears are more relieving. So it is in fact better to swear at somebody than yell at them saying 'You're so pretty!' very angerly at them". We all laughed and I responded "The eternal nerd inside me thinks that calling people a s'wit, n'wah, and a fetcher is better". Nobody had any idea what I was talking about.

I still have to get to the point where I yell out "Son of a fetcher!" in class...

Oh, Morrowind insults

But before Skyrim was announced, my last post was August 22. When I found out (Jan. 3) I came back immediately.

Two of my buddies installed oblivion on their computers again and smoked pot while playing it all night after I showed them the trailer

I spent a couple hours trying to decipher the GameInformer text before finding out that it wasn't a direct-to-English translation.

As did we all. :)

Nothing "crazy" but I'm not shaving til well after 11.11.11 if at all. Grow a beard for Skyrim!

I soaked one hand in petrol and lit it, and dipped the other into liquid nitrogen, pretending that I was dual-wielding spells in Skyrim

Nah, haven't done anything of the sort. I'm thinking about buying an Oblivion Collector's Edition Septim on ebay and turning it into a necklace though :P

Its not really "crazy", but in hype for skyrim I tell all of my friends the info about it, even though only one of them cares. And I go on for hours telling my girlfriend about it, but she could care less :P

Lol I keep doing this (but with my bf, not gf). I still feel the need to fill them in on every development, even though the majority of my friends don't know what TES is, let alone get excited over SK.

I'd say that the craziest thing is the brief delusion (which I can't be held accountable for, being asleep at the time) that I was Nikola Tesla wielding two fistfuls of lightning, riding atop the great Numidium, battling Daedric orcs astride ghostly dragons, shouting SCIENCE! By the time Hawthorne entered the picture holding a crossbow with explosion-tipped bolts, I knew that I was dreaming...

In reality, I've beaten Daggerfall's Main Quest, from fresh start to finish in about a week. Now that's crazy.

Win.
Didnt think about that, but thats a good idea.
Growing a beard is popular, but not crazy.
But Ill be sure to think of something.

*cough* Facepaint *cough cough*...
Haha, actually that would be completely awesome. Just walking around, minding your own business, and then a Skaal warrior passes by you, in the middle of wal-mart... O_o

Edit: I guess the 'craziest' thing was screaming out "Fus Ra Dah!" while riding one of our horses lol. C'mon, you all know it would be awesome!

I've drawn the bloodline (only the direct and males, though) of my upcoming Nord character starting from the Oblivion crisis.

I had a crazy idea for my own little trailer, but my daughter spoiled it for me. :)

We were going to a doctor's office which is right across the highway from the Bethesda offices in Maryland, and my idea was to dress up like a viking with a wooden sword and make an amateur video of me trying to hack my way through the Bethesda Sign out front to find the secrets of Skyrim, and then add some graphics of a dragon burning me to the ground. :flamethrower:

But alas, she chickened out for even holding the camera while I performed my insane skit - but it was a nice thought!

Thank you. :)

I had it all planned out too - even had the sword. I may still do it, but I need to find a "brave" camera person to help. ;)

A slideshow for the class project would be cool!

I bet the viker biker is hyped for Skyrim - I'll have to ask him next time I see him out roaming.
