Crazy theory about companions

Post » Sat Nov 28, 2015 12:39 am

The moment I heard that there was 12 companions, and given Bethesda's love for religious refrences, I immediatly thought of this

Anyone else think Beth might be messing with us?

Heh XD That would've been even funnier in 3 with all the Biblical subtext.

Nah just they way it worked out. Wouldn't be right because one of them would stab us in the back. Not cool.

Great. Now I'm going to be looking over my shoulder the whole game. Gonna keep wondering if Dogmeat or my old butler droid have some secret agreement with Ceaser from New Vegas. If they crucify me, I'm expecting a Revelations DLC. Just saying.

No, the PC is jesus, dogmeat is Judas, which is why he leaves every owner he has had.

Not really big. Judas was only paid 30 silver pieces.

How funny Bethesda uses a fairy tale to spin of a Fallout story component.

I've just thought of a cool idea for a seasonal DLC!

If we manage to round up all of the potential companions into one place by a 'certain date' (multiple follower glitch anyone?), we could be rewarded with a special in-game rendition of "The Twelve Days of Christmas!" :D

Maybe we'll be able to tell them to hang out at a given home base like the lucky 38 was in Vegas?

Generaly that was worth 120 days wages(Based on a 6 day work week, so roughly 20 weeks for clarity, not 24) if it was temple silver.(most sources I have seem to agree on that point that it would have been since money changers were there to convert non temple silver to temple silver, because at that time the temple HAD to deal in the purer silver the was required to use.) Granted back then you could not buy mutch on thoes wages so it s kind of harder to compare)

Perhaps.
This would align with the companion betrayal I'm hoping for.
Our character will probably become God-like at some point, as well.

I, too, disrespect others' religious beliefs for no other reason than to make them angry.

Good post, friend!

No disrespect intended, but I guess some are easily offended in today's overly PC thin-skinned world.
