[Petition] Create a Suggestion and complaints section

Post » Thu Dec 15, 2011 10:32 pm

Considering that we already have three boards dedicated to reporting bugs, and yet people still post them in general, even if there were a section specifically for complaints, do you really think anyone would use it?

I'm not the one that said one was less important than the other.

I was just countering the OP's argument. I thought the ":P" smiley made it clear I wasn't being entirely serious.

I took it as you were "being cute", using a smiley thats sticking out his tongue.

Like, kinda being sarcastic but kinda not.

I think the best place for listing problems with the game is the Software/Hardware section, which is separated by PC, PS, 360.

What do you expect from over-hyped really devoted fans that get insulted and shocked from anyone saying that the game is not perfect? :P :P :P
Don't even bother to explain why some criticism is needed and should not insult anyone especially when the product is not theirs to begin with,

Please create a section for suggestions and complaints. I am very frustrated reading so many complaints in the "general skyrim discussion" section. I feel that this isn't a general discussion at all. I feel most of the positive players that enjoy the game lurk over in the spoilers section because of the lack of whining and negativity.

Is this not a "whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa" thread itself? The anti complainers are just as annoying as the complainers.

There's a difference between bugs and suggestions. You people count it all as whining anyway. If you took the time to read the posts from some of the veterans who have been forum members for yeas, they actuall appreciate the. Criticisms ad comments. (not the rants and raves). It's the majority of forum noobs that call everything that does not appear to be positive ....negative and whining.

Get over it .....I mean damn how do you expect game developers incorporate new features and fixes....by listening mindless blind faith praise?

Your kinda new at the Forum thing aren't you, not only is it nowhere near as prevalent or epidemic as some would have peeps believe but it also will subside. its called ignoring. if you feel all the "happy" people are playing Skyrim, then by all means Join them.

Less complaining threads means that other threads won't be booted to page 3 in 10 mins.

Just because my account is new, doesn't mean I don't notice the amount of cry cry threads outweigh the positive threads. Even if I am incorrect and exaggerating, I still fail to see this as a bad idea. Whats wrong with compiling the complaints and suggestions into one area to sort out logical fixes / additions that Bethesda / Modders may consider adding?

And it's "You're."

Lurker, account holder, whats the difference aside from my opinions not being voiced?

I agree with you and voted yes. For the same reasons you pointed out, even though Skyrim does not appeal at all to me, I can imagine what it is to love a game, come to the forums and mostly find "this sux" topics. As someone mentioned, given the recent release, most of the people who are enjoying Skyrim are playing it, nevertheless it does not invalidate your points.

How about they create a separate Suggestions and Complaints section and you enforce it.

To the OP, just ignore them because sooner or later all these complainers will just die out. It happens in every game release where all the complainers are on hyper mode.

Actually, I don't mind the complains, its really funny sometimes especially those outrageous ones.

This ^^ I cant understand why people dont get this. When you make a complaint it isnt a personal attack on another user and to be taken seriously it normally has what you do enjoy or a suggestion as to how you would want your problem solved. There is no body language and text is impersonal so every word is read into to a degree not intended by the poster in most cases. Browse any thread and you get a mixture of apathy, indignant rage and valid points all mixed with opinions and then thrown through language translators.

You know this game is good when its loved by so many and has so many problems and for everything I disliked about it there is something I enjoyed.

I feel that posting my complaints under a section labelled "complaints" would somehow nullify the validity of my complaints.

Firstly this is a petition, we do not allow petitions.
Secondly you are allowed your freedom of speech here (as many have discussed in this topic) provided it is within the forum rules.
Thirdly, go read the forum rules - you agreed to abide by them when you joined.
Fourthly, there will not be a "complaints" forum, you have the freedom to read and reply to whichever topics you wish to, so just ignore those that are complaining.
