Hello guys, I was just wondering if it is possible to create arrows as I have not seen any option to be able to at the moment, if it is possible could you please give me some indication as to how I can come by this.

I have been looking around the forum but have not found a thread which clearly specifies whether or not it is possible.

I was actually surprised with the sheer amount of arrows I was picking up.

I though they were supposed to be more uncommon now :shrug:

In any case, I hope there is a way of creating arrows, but I haven't come across it yet.

There is a mod called Arrowsmith which shows arrows under the blacksmithing menu. However, with the latest patch it seems a lot of the mods are broken. I would lok out for an update in the new year once they have released the Creation Kit.

If you are playing on PC I don't think this will be an issue.

The Arrowsmith mod still works fine, used it last night to make some more Elven Arrows.

Depends on how much smithing you have unlocked, but Iron and Steel should be available pretty easily.

You just need to have the right items available, the Fletchings require Quills, Hag Feathers or Hawk Feathers and are created on the Tanning rack.

Arrows are far less common in numbers found on archer types.
But...
There are far more cases of archer types around.
Arrows are sold in less quantity in shops than before.
But...
There are more types of shops that sell arrows.

Yes, they were telling the truth to an extent, but the result is... more arrows.
