Creating "Disease" spells?

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 7:54 pm

Hiya everyone! I'm not too savvy with the more technical facets of the CS... All I can about do is make spells and give them to my character.

I was curious if there is a way to make a castable disease? I think I tried once before, but it wouldn't work in-game.
Also, how do I make my own enchanted items in the CS that I can give to my character through the console? I know I need to choose a model and that sort of thing for the armor/weapon I am trying to make, but I have had a hard time figuring that out as well.

Any and all help is much appreciated, and if you have any pointers for a new CS user, those would be really nice too! No tip is too nooby for me. :)

Diseases cannot use the Target or Touch range capability, so you cannot cast them at an enemy.
But you can always make a Spell that has the same attributes as a Disease, and therefore could be used offensively. Though it wouldn't act like a real Disease, except by just imitating the negative effects on your target.

Create new Enchantments under the Enchanting tab. It's basically the same method for making Spells.
Then create the weapon you want to enchant, (choose your weapon, change the ID, save) and select your enchantment from the 'Enchanting' section in your new weapon's reference window.

To add it to your inventory in-game use: Player->AddItem "The Item's ID" 1

Thank you very much! That is quite the informative post. :)
Sad about the diseases, though... Oh well.
