I can't post links yet but if you search on Photobucket for ESO Arnbjorg Wolfsbane you should hopefully find my Beta female Wood elf

It's something I've done for my friends in the past. Since I love creating characters and seeing what I can come up with, while two of my friends couldn't care less. I'm better at creating female characters though; I get a little too perved out when creating male characters and my biased preference take over. I also took a quick shot at emulating my avatar before the servers went down, but I didn't go into it as much as I would have liked. Unfortunately even the thinnest jawline wasn't thin enough, but here was what I came up with http://s16.postimg.org/gwenvjnit/Ysa.jpg
I added the photo filter to negate the difference in lighting.
Edit; I couldn't find your character Adieuk?
Took some decent photos of the CC screens (after hours of fiddling) so hopefully my future Breton will be an exact copy of his soon late twin brother
Nice tips! I may have some hope of transferring my Skyrim characters over this way. Thanks!
Unfortunately no. However I did take screens of what my character looked like... so I'll just try and match it be best I can.
That's actually really good! She's perty! Not sure what good you could do with the dunmer I rolled for the betas... he was pretty ugly! He's gonna be a tank though, so I want him big and tall. I will actually spend a bit of time tweeking him here and there although I tend to go "intimidating" over "handsome"
She gets around! Talk about free flying miles!
Funnily, just by randomizing the appearance and changing some little things left and right, I find one I very like. And I'll be sure to recreate that character well since I just recorded the whole character data plus appearance with FRAPS.
Nope. I have a general idea in mind of how I want them to look, but they don't have to be exactly identical to their beta incarnations. The names I've chosen are pretty long and unusual, so I don't think I'll need to rush, either.
I intentionally didn't make any of my beta characters what I wanted for after release. Different race/class/faction combos, and I didn't put much into their appearance. Once the game is released, I will put a lot more time into designing my characters.
Yes I wrote down the sliders for my altmer... but I think I'm gonna make a breton after all, so I'll restart from the beginning.
I don't get why you posted yours though, you want some clones in game? XD

Thanks for this info about golden mask and overlay program.
I wanted to make a human but couldn't get her look right, she always ended up looking either like a child or a witch.
Post any more hints if you have more XD.
i didnt spend so much time on the Chara create but i plan on spending HOURS on making my toon look just right, I also will use the overlay
That's awesome:) I think I'm going to look into this technique. I know what I want my character to look like based off a picture of a (sadly departed) D&D character of mine and I think with this tip and some time I can do her justice.
Didn't write any of the stats down and will just make up something I like the look of on the day.
It would take my so long to explain my character's detailing but basically he was a male Wood Elf, very short, burns on face and chest, and goatee.
Here's my usual template when creating a character...
Dunmer
Male
A cool tool for sure... Never thought of doing something like that, I do spend allot of time with character looks.. For I think it is a big part of the back lore of your character, where they came from what they encountered in their early life etc..
I got my back story done, now with this tool I can get closer to how he looks even more.. THANKS for the tip..
No worries. I guess it sort of comes with the territory in my case; being an ex hair stylist and currently a personal trainer. Fitness and beauty are kind of my thing, though they don't always translate well into games; that being said it's the subtle things that help make a good looking character most of the time; even though it's a matter of personal taste, there are still little tricks you can use.
If I'm making a female character and I'm trying to make her pretty, so to speak (it's all subjective) there are certain rules I follow loosely; pale skin works better with dark hair and lighter hair works better with tanned skin. Brunettes generally suit green or brown eyes, while blondes better suit blue eyes. Red heads I almost always use either blue or green eyes; even better if their eyes are bright and colourful.
You can go ahead and use the golden ratio face mask for an outline of a face if you like, but personally I prefer more defined jawlines; not quite Olivia Wilde or Keira Knightley, but a little softer; like Jessica Alba or Jennifer Lawrence. Go ahead an find a frontal face shot where they don't have their mouth open and they're not smiling; then use the transparent image program I mentioned earlier to overlay their face (you can use your own face if you like! That's always fun and I've done it a few times myself) - just make sure that you scale the face down so that the chin and cheek bones roughly match up with your characters.
Once you've finished lining everything up, you can tweek it to your liking. Upping the eye squint, rotating the eyes inwards and adding dark eye liner will create a more seductive look, but just remember the role of your character. While this might suit my ageless seductive Vampire, it might not suit your warrioress.
As for body, again this is really down to personal taste, but the sliders in ESO are on the extreme skinny side; to the point of anorexia, and it's really not a good look. Picture the triangle and draw four dots in your mind; one on each of the points and one in the middle; I place my dot in the middle of these three dots - center, muscular and skinny. This is still very skinny in my eyes, but at least a natural skinny; sort of like Miranda Kerr; but then again, I wanted my character to be slender; being a souless creature of the night and all.
Don't get carried away with the chest and bum sliders fellas. I know you have this tick in the back of your brain telling you to svck that gut right in, thin the waist, push the bum out and enlarge the chest, but take a step back for a moment and look at the proportions; I know you're probably trying to create the perfect hourglass figure, but nobody looks like that. It's unrealistic and you'll spot it later on, once you've come to your senses! Be subtle with the sliders; never go maximum or minimum anything (other than the shoulders; which you should pull in as far as you can. A woman who looks like she's carrying two invisible sand bags under her arms isn't attractive). Oh, and put your armour back on to see what she looks like, as this is what you'll be looking at most of the time.
The one thing I'll say about hair in an MMO. Make sure you like the back, that's all that really matters here, as it's what you'll be looking at 90% of the time.
That's about it. These are all my opinion by the way. Make of them what you will and use my tips if you like - just make sure you add your own flare; nobody wants hundreds of model-esque clones.
I did the same thing I wrote down the proportions which slider # with screenshots in case i lost the paper. I did this for a few races/classes cause I'd figure a nightblade/archer would have bigger arms legs and shoulder muscle not bulky big but Firm/tone then say a wizard whose heaviest thing they probably lift be a staff or tome or tankard . I'll Probably make an orc Dragonknight, A bosmer NB darker skin, short and curvy, with tone muscle and a healthy weight from all that meat XD, Altmer its hard to pass up the racials but if i do just piss on the racials i'll probably make a bosmer. Templar i'm not entirely sure as i've heard they get mana starved later on another class might have better healing over all going resto staff/light armor skill wise and class skills be damned.
My only beef is i wish they had more hairstyles.
I tried so many characters over the betas and messed around with the looks so much that at this point, I know what I want my character to look like so well that I can actually just move all of the sliders to the appropriate positions in about three minutes without even looking at the character in the process...
...does that count?
An Osimer templar archer. I'll probably go for an All Black winger physique. Bald and short. Handsome face of course.
just for no reason at all I give you CHEESE FOR EVERYONE enjoy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Veszrg1TErk
@Pseudonym84
Thanks for your last post. I understand what you're saying. When I looked at maximum briast size the first time, I was like "Damn that's way too big".
I found out that putting sliders to maximum or minimum worked well for me on my altmer, but when I switched and tried to do the same thing on a human, it looked awkard, as you said, like anorexia.
Personnaly, the picture you posted about the Imperial female you've made is one of the nicest human female I've seen, and that's why I'll look closely at the hints you gave me.
I don't want to copy her; I'm going to make a breton female, brown hair and blue eyes (it's what I like), but if I can make a character that looks nice like yours, I'll be happy.
For some reasons, I can't really enjoy playing if I don't like the look of my character. This very thing made me restart Skyrim characters very often until I finally found a look I liked.
Anyway, Thank you very much.
