Creating Your Own Characters?

Security, Heavy Medic

Mask and tattoo from the spec-ops bonus pack, trench coat from the freak, and pants from the look. White with blue accents for a color scheme.

Oh, right, each character has two looks.

My resistance look will be Firestarter's pants with Fortress's upperbody. Id like some kind of helmet like the fortress has, but without it covering the face. Red with white accents.

My character will walk on two legs, wear clothing, and fire weaponry using his hands. He may also perform various jumps and slides. I know, I've got my work cut out for me.

Im thinking about a big dude wit a wife beater on with some jean shorts with a beanie and some clean sneakers for with straps or chains on his torso with taped wrists and he gonna be tatted up and hands for my resistence guy.
And for my security guy maybe another big guy with a helmet, bulletproof vest with a long sleeved shirt under it, cargo pants, combat boots, and some fresh shades and maybe some other kinds of armor and padding to look cooler.

You sure they have those choices in the character customization?

I'm pretty sure I sensed some sarcasm in his post. Maybe not, I'm having trouble finding it.

Edit: Sorry, just noticed you are from china, I've been told that sarcasm is one of the harder things to get used to if English isn't your first language.

Actually I'm from Hong Kong (I just live in Beijing, China) and I believe that my english is better than my chinese. But still...I don't sense any sarcasm there.

Don't know, but I think there's a lot of languages with plenty of sarcasm? Or am I a bit biased because my language has sarcasm but is also related to English?

Well, being able to speak a language does not mean to fully understand it. Sarcasm is in fact a good example for that difference. And British humour,
Also, from what I've heard, far-east Asian languages (and especially Chinese) have the most difficult type of Sarcasm to understand. Or the most hidden one.

Sarcasm works different in most languages, though. Generally, you'll find it easiest to recognise sarcasm in your mother tounge.

Now that I've seen the new wallpapers, I'm definently gonna use that 8-eyed Security Mask with the matching hood, so it will be Medium/Light Soldier/Medic/Operative with stuff like that. But, then it must also be avaible in-game, and not just some concept art
http://www.brinkthegame.com/media/wallpapers/ if you have'nt seen it yet :P

mine: Security, (i enjoy playing as the oppressive force) baggy black pants, white shirt, black coat maybe (?), and a skull cap (a tight beanie). Light body type of course
For Resistance, i'll probably go with the most gangster thing i can, baggy jeans, muscle T,, hevay or medium body type, Iced out chains like The G achetype, and some gold teef :D

all the way i want an operative...
Resistance: Light guy, druganov rifle, black or a dark tan, tattoos all over, scars on face, combat cargos, combat boots, black hoodie with anger mask.
Security: basically the guy that we saw in the trailer with the bug mask on doing all the freerunning.

I want to make Brink versions of ISA and Helgast soldiers from Killzone but to do that best I would have to be able to mix gear that is exclusive to one side or the other so I won't be able to customize characters exactly how I envisioned :( it also depends on if you can detach certain parts of gear like if I can take the helmet off with the gas mask on and replace it with a beret to look like a Helgast medic from KZ2. I hope Brinks customization is that versitile!

I would really like to make a pink-black colored Resistance medic. You know, just to break all these hard looking, badass skin combos
