Creating yourself in Skyrim

Post » Wed Apr 03, 2013 10:34 pm

I have just atempted to create myself using all human Races. The race that I was able to make myself with Is Breton. :( I wanted to be a Nord.

Has anyone else recreated yourself in Skyrim.

If you have.
What race was it?
what race did you want to be?

Yes... a Breton.
I think Imperial would work too, but Nord & Redguard are too tall...

I spent an hour creating my first/main character, tweaking it ever so much. He freaks my wife out by how much we look alike.

I don't tend to do this because it makes the character feel flat to me (disclaimer: I do not inhabit Flatland). Tried it in Oblivion, usually with the Khajiit (only used Khajiit retexture mods), and followed the details of different parts of my face, such as height of brow, height of nose, nose sellion, etc. There is less opportunity to do this with Skyrim due to fewer sliders and different options, and I probably won't ever bother (or I'll name the character something different).

I did this with a female Nord named Malvahlok (name is Mallory anyways though I usually go by Mal).

It worked out pretty well.
