When ever I load up SCK it works normally,but when I double click the skyrim.esm and update.esm,and click okay.I crashes right there,It doesnt do the whole loading thing.I really want to make a mod and I've been waiting too long!

I think there is a log file somewhere you can look through that might help you determine what kind of error you are encountering.

In the meantime, I would try and rename the /Skyrim/SkyrimEditorPrefs.ini to something like SkyrimEditorPrefs.ini.old and then restart the program just to make sure it isn't a settings problem.

If none of that is any help, I would try the typical steam suggestion of reacquiring the game install.

I renamed it SkyrimEditorPrefs.ini.old and now It's asking for a network location must be selected.What do I do?
