[WIP] B_C's Creature mod

Bone_Collector's Creature Mod

This mod will aim to create 20-25 new creatures in the wildernis and in dungeons, so far i have created 3. In vanilla there are around 10 creatures in the whole game(!). I am aiming to get double in the game.
The creatures will be placed in the existing leveled lists, maybe in a further stage into new leveled lists.
For now this is what the mod will feature:

- New creatures
- The creatures will be placed in existing leveled lists and as i said earlier maybe in a further stage into new ones.
- The creatures will have their own abilities, positive and negative
- Some new items that the new creatures will be carrying

Suggestions for new features are welcome

Some of the creatures will only be visible around a certain level to make the game more exciting once you gain that level.

I think they're Daggerfall critters, so... I guess you could search for such. Of course, screenshots might be forthcoming, but until then, might be worth a go.

New creatures are always nice, BC. Not sure about your plans for the leveled lists though, as most people are either on FCOM/OOO/MMM/Frans nowadays that have loads of new ceatures added to the leveled lists already. Add the upcoming release of the amazing WAC on top of that and you see that there is some very hard competition to face. Therefore I released my own creaturepack purely as a modder's resource to spice up dungeons and locations with interresting new creatures or variants.

But it's your mod, so you decide! :foodndrink:

I'll be happy, if you can do at least Manticore and Mummy.


Mummy has been done, it's in my http://www.invision.tesalliance.org/forums/index.php?/files/file/488-tamriel-worldspace-creature-pack/. Picture at the bottom. Will probably in a future version of MMM.

I am confused first you say your making new creatures and harp of the fact that Beth only released a few then turn around and do nothing but re-hash their creatures ! in essence making nothing new...

I mean are you going to make anything new or not ?
I mean 500 other people have already done this.
I mean its nothing but SSDD -> Google it.
Just saying I would like to see an actual new creature...:)

Do you understand the reference of a new creature? A new creature is also a reharsh of existing creatures, BTW the visitors of this topic like my creatures

There are few who can create an entire new creature.

With this very post you blame every creature mod that has not added new creatures from he ground (Ivellon, MMM,OWC, and lots of others)

Looks like Saiden believes something only has the right to be called a new creature if it's build from scratch with a custom skeleton and custom animations. Which is nonsense of course, just look at the amazing stuff Waalx created for WAC for example where all creatures feel new and fresh without having to build a custom skeleton or new animations. I'm also unsure about the purpose of his post, but if it's meant to motivate B-C to start making creatures from scratch than it does a damn bad job at that.

Of course one can say that something technically isn't a new creature when not build from scratch. But when I retexture a mountainlion into a tiger, make it a bit bigger and bulkier and add some bigger fangs to make it a sabretooth tiger than it will be generally perceived as a new creature by most gamers.

Modding should be fun, so just carry on and do what you like best, B-C.

For some constructive critics: The white bear is really kinda "white" right now. Try playing with some soft yellows to get a more realistic fur texture and that nose needs a bit of color as well I think. :)
