Creatures v.X and Merged Objects esp

In the readme for Creatures v.X it says, "Do not include Creatures if you are creating a Merged Objects file. For some reason, the scripts go really screwy, and a common side effect are massive herds of Guars." Does he mean using TESTool and creating a Merged Objects esp. If so, thats what I do to install mods. I'm following Ronin49's "Starting Out With Mods 1.1" guide and he says to create one in step 7 of his "Adding Mods" list which he says is "A coherent and consistent process for adding mods to the game (which) will reduce conflicts and installation mishaps to a minimum." So I don't know what exactly I should do if I wanted to install Creatures. Is there another Creatures compatible method of doing what the Merged Objects esp does?

The best solution is to do exactly what it says in the creatures readme. Don't add creatures until after you generate the merged objects plug...as in don't merge it. Don't worry, it works fine without being merged and it's a lot of fun.
