[WIP] Creatures XI

I know that Connary has given some of your creatures retextures. Will this update include those textures?

I think that those have been included in the download ever since Creatures X.

Alaisiagae, sorry about the six change. He is usually used when in doubt. Use Creatures, if you know how to edit levelled lists, you can easily remove those creatures from the lists. I know other people do the same.

Only some of Connaries textures have been included, just the ones that fit my idea of a texture for that creature.

The Guar/Predator idea is just lists. The Guar entry in a list would be removed, and replaced with a list that contains lots of Guars, and the Predator. This makes these predators rare encounters as they should be in a "stable" ecology.

hello again, ive got a mounted raptor finished now (armour needs re-tex though)

http://s182.photobucket.com/albums/x224/abstrusedesigns/nifs/

i was wondering how far youve got with the almelexia re-tex?
it seems ive given myself lots to do now so will just be trying to get these files out in a raw form with the basic textures, that way i can be quicker about things - im looking to do at least two new creatures a week
also, u might notice the goblins head missing, well thats easy to correct in nifskope by adding the head you want to use but it messes up the export from blender if left on - i dont know why though

I ran into more dagoth weaponry with those black icons. A war axe, long sword, bow... I think that all the icons have the problem.

Speaking of which, I think that those ash slaves are overpowered. At first I thought my unamored level 12 mage with 60 hp just svcked, which he probably does, but then I noticed that not even golden saints hit as hard as those ash slaves with their new dagoth weaponry.

I prefere to snipe the 6. house with my bow, because thet are quite hardhitting. Especially the 6. house bow and the bellhammer (although it's cool to see them used as a weapon).

The hammer is quite nice and should still pack a punch, but I think that the other weapons could be toned down a bit.

lidicus,

Nice work :D.

hmmm just a thought, you wouldnt happen to be "wormgod", would you? You know the animator for morrowind working on a top secret project..... I mean you did say that raptor i showed was inspiration for your current raptor..... and not many people, let alone new people to the forum no about that static raptor in morrowind advanced ;)

Ok end thoughtful speculation here, lol.

The mounted creatures are great and i hope that piratelord includes them in creatures XI :D

lol, not a chance, if i was i'd probably have access to alot more resources than i do - by the way the mounts i sent you do have a anim problem (the chop anims ended with slash, dont worry) but i have corrected versions now which i'll send - i still havent given the female clothes etc or re-texed the male - have you done anything to it yet? im kinda waiting on that to send to PL and so i can do a mounted guar aswell

Looks great, PirateLord! I'll download it as soon as I get my computer to run Morrowind... Which will probably be long after you release this version.

To answer a previous question I won't be including the mounted Raptor. I see the Raptor as a small pack hunter but the Durzog Rider looks the right scale and would fit great with those annoying goblins.

Big predators will be the creature versions of the tribunal machine/flesh creatures.

All will be rare (being predators, can't have too many to unbalance the ecology)

In case you didn't catch it, PirateLord, I'm pretty sure I send you a PM the other day asking about this mod. If you never got it, I can resend something.

Anyway, very nice work. Quite entertaining.

it'd probably be a pain in the posterior to pull off, but it'd be cool to have some of those Durzog-riding Goblins wielding crossbows. :hehe:

As a player I definately wouldn't want any goblins to be weilding crossbows, they are already plenty deadly without.

A short bow would be deadlier.

Or maybe a http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=7288 would be more appropriate. :)

I don't think I got it, my mail box fills faster then I can delete them, since I keep a number of old PMs for reference.

Do what I do, go into your email and PM box at the same time, then send yourself emails one by one with the subject, author, and message of all (or some) of your PM's in email form. Now you can safely delete some too make room. :)

You don't need to do it one by one, you can use http://www.gamesas.com/bgsforums/index.php?act=Msg&CODE=14 for that.

Yeah, but that saves them onto your computer, you can't just go into your email and read them anywhere.
