Dragons: Nooo... If Akatosh is a dragon what are the chances of many. Then again the Ka Po Tun have at least one dragon so...

If I see a cliffracer... Well... I will write a strongly worded letter of complaint, is what I will do!!! :P

I voted farm animals and reptiles but I don't want to see a cow in the middle of a desert. Imagine how confused it would be... So what I'm saying is make sure they fit in location

READ THE LORE. There were more dragons than just akatosh, and I think they should especially be in Skyrim.
AND IF YOU READ THE LORE you would know that there are cows in the desert.
AND you are a cliff racer if you hadn't noticed.

No, they debuted in Daggerfall. People make Morrowind up to more than it deserves...

They dont make it more than they deserve Daggerfalls just older Morrowind more than desreved what it gets.

http://www.imperial-library.info/obscure_text/aldudagga.shtml#3. 'Nuff said.
Oh, and EDIT: Ugh. No Dragons. Period. As in .

Please note:
1) Dragons are, generally speaking, as cliche fantasy as it comes.
2) From a lore perspective, dragons are insanely rare, if not gone from Tamriel altogether.
3) Also from a lore perspective, here's an excerpt from http://www.imperial-library.info/mwbooks/famed_artifacts.shtml regarding the Fang of Haynekhtnamet.
Black Marsh was once known to be inhabited with what the Argonians called the Wamasus. Northern men considered them to be intelligent dragons with lightning for blood. One such mighty beast, Haynekhtnamet, was slain by the Northern men, though it took 7 days and nights, and a score of men.

So if it took 20 men seven straight days to bring down a creature that was apparently dragon-esque, what makes you think a character, regardless of how strong they get, could be able to single-handedly take down the real deal in an epic one-on-one battle?
And please, I beg of you, don't suggest a 30- or 40-NPC raid as the solution. Not only would that many NPCS in action at once be crippling, can you imagine the pure, utter, horrifying chaos that would ensue as a result of the randomness of battle allowed for by RaidantAI?

-and-
Also to note, the dragons are protected by the imperials, are HEAVILY symbolic to practically all civilization, and no one knows where the hell they are. They could be disguised as humans, or hidden really deep underground.

-and-
Not that dragons being protected by Imperials means you wouldn't be able to kill them, stealing and murder are against Imperial law, but you can still do them, it just has concequences. That being said, though, having a full sized dragon be something a single adventurer could kill would simply not do them justice at all.

I'm aware there are more dragons I'm just saying people are suggesting them to be in the game as if they'll see them as frequently as they see mudcrabs
Where in lore does it say cows are in the desert!? What do they eat?
And to your final point, that is exactly why I don't want anymore

The two other points were a joke more valid than the first.
I know that cows don't wander around in a desert.

And you have a point about mudcrabs(which were better? Morrowinds or Oblivions). Still it would be nice to see a few.

Oblivion's mudcrabs were huge?
I guess I've just been desensitized due to the size of Morrowind's mudcrab. In Morrowind, those things damn near came up to your waist...

As long as there are NOT dragons and dwarves, I'm good. Just make them interesting and fun, and also relative to where it is. Skyrim dosen't have goblins or trolls, it has rieklings and Udyfrykte. Functionally the same, but still different.

They have Trolls there but there just wussies compared to the Udyfrykte. Grahls to horkers that stuff. All Nordic creatures, Bargheust (look it up) Trolls, Wheres and some Dire animals, Wolfs Bears the big baddies.

I love cows... :)
It's hard to tell really... On one hand I'm running around a beach on Oblivion, battle music starts and I can't for the life of me see what's chasing me, Morrowind's mudcrabs could be seen a mile away... On another hand, Morrowind's craps were basically mobile homes with pincers. But on someone elses hand... Morrowind's crabs didn't always attack, some would even say they were quite polite.... That and one talked to me :) Damn rich mudcrab :) I love those kinda Easter Eggs :P

I want small mud crabs, not huge ones like in Oblivion.

Have you played Morrowind? If not you don't understand the meaning of huge mudcrabs. :P Oblivions were tiny! Like babies! Very violent babies! They didn't listen to their Morrowind mothers and ran off at a young ages as teenage tearaways who didn't eat enough veggies to grow big and strong...

Not played Morrowind? They are massive. The end of my post was a joke though, but who knows, it may turn out correct

I say Volkihar vampires, snow whales, snow wolves, snow bears, snow boars, snow werewolves, and grahl. Oh and some more livestock like cattle; it was weird not seeing any before.

I clicked on a whole lot of them - I know I did not go for Dragons (In case they're over done and lose some of the mystical qualitys though I would not mind one or two MAX) or Giant Bugs (too RPG cliche and never fun to fight).

I'll give the topic some more thought and get back to you.

I just don't want to fight for my each footstep. I want enemies to be kinda rare, and fights more lethal.

In most games you end up killing dozens of animals or bandits, when all youre trying to do is walk a couple hundred meters in the wilderness between A and B.

In Gothic 3 I'm having hundreds of deer skins, and I've just been shooting them when they're close enough, dumb enough to not flee, or 'fleeing' right at my sword. That's not hunting, thats just plain BS.

Edit: wth is a snow whale?

Whether or not it's a province where a Dragon would be found, I would like them to remain somewhat mysterious (you had one in Redguard, people, what more do you want?)

Edit: wth is a snow whale?

Snow whales have been in Skyrim since the return of Man, living at the tops of the highest mountains, singing in magic tones, jumping from peak to cloud and back again, spreading their joy-snow in horn-like triumph from blowholes. We used to hunt them, our best climbers braving the rocks and ice-sheets, carrying rope and hooked spears. They had much meat, these whales, and blubber, and fluids that made paint and rosewater for our women. The earliest hunters had no luck though; spouts of joy-snow from the whales above would drift down from the clouds and turn the men goofy. They would laugh like happy babes, some getting so tickled that they’d roll back down the mountainside in big flumphs—which only begat more guffaws-- or begin to pat each other on the back or hug in the masculine style to reaffirm their affections and camaraderie; in essence, the joy-snow got in their heads and they just forgot what they were doing.

Voted: Dragons, weres, more fish, ancient chinese (dragons and yeti), wild horses (that you could tame and capture), reptiles (more unique creatures).

I definately don't care for the old cliche "ancient Greek" and "ancient Norse" stuff. Overdone, IMO.

More creatures are always nice but they should deffinetly remember one thing, don't have only "attack the player on sight" creatures, actually give them BEHAVIORS. Otherwise you wouldn't need different creatures, in Oblivion they all behaved that same anyway (Mountain lions, wolfs and boars could be freely interchanged and only differed by their strength).

You don't have enough hyphens to explain it correctly.
