Creatures That You Want in Fallout 4

Post » Sat Nov 28, 2015 3:32 am

So what sorts of creatures would you like to see in Fallout 4? This isn't a serious thread, rather just throwing ideas around.

Personally, I'd like to see FEV mutated platypuses (Deathbills?). Why? They're mammals. But they lay eggs. They're actually venomous, and they can detect electric pulses with their bills. Now imagine that mutated with some good ol' FEV.

So, what wacky creatures would you guys like to see?

I want to seehttp://www.animalplanet.com/tv-shows/dogs-101/videos/boston-terrier/that have changed dramatically due to F.E.V / radiation/magic or whatever and become something like a miniature yao guai that hunt in large packs and maul everything in the vicinity.

Tobar mentioned not making the Commonwealth run in the Duchess Gambit because of spouts (water spouts I guess) and critters looking for something to eat. I would like to see some mutated sea creatures.

Anything that isn't just another Deathclaw/Mirelurk/Yao Guai.

I'd like to see more mutated humanoids.

I think I briefly saw one in the trailer that only had one arm.

I definitely want to see the centaurs come back.

There was the feral ghoul that the doggie was ripping apart. Was that the one you saw?

Some actual wildlife that DOESNT try to kill you. A mutated deer or something.

Maybe the Redcoat Ghoul is an Ahab-like character intent on hunting down the mutant, Lovecraftian squid that ghoulified him with radioactive ink. Or maybe I'm projecting my own wild, unrealistic fantasies into the game unfairly.

I am totally down for some awesome sea monsters, like a Giant Octopus. Imagine doing an underwater mission, you're in a 20,000 leagues styled diving suit, approaching an underwater lab, and suddenly a rock lunges out at you with 12-20 ft. tentacles, each with hundreds of claws and suction cups.

I want more docile wildlife. Mutant dear, and monkey-esque squirrels.

That would be pretty great. I think it might be in, too; we got concept art of a two-headed deer, and there was a fox in the underpass shot of the release trailer.

Things like wild dogs and Yao Guai ought to only be territorial, so they'll only attack if you get close.

I wouldn't mind seeing food be more important and by extension we could hunt the wildlife to gain better quality food than Salisbury Steak or Pork and Beans.

Maybe...

It was around the 35-38 second mark of the "atom bomb baby" video that showed combat gameplay. The creature is in the river and appears to have only one arm. The dog was attacking it, yes.

It could very well have been a feral ghoul.

Yeah, some water creatures would be nice (as long as I can at least use my knife underwater).

I took it to be an android. They showed combat with synths, and I think an android is more likely to survive with its arm off.
