Creatures I want to know more about

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 10:20 am

Alright, I'm just going to make a list of creatures I want to learn more about. Everything I know about them so far is from UESP descriptions on their pages for the in-game details.

Durzogs. Kagouti. Alits. Nix-Hounds. Trolls (Like the Udyrfrykte and the trolls of Oblivion) and ogres. What all do we know about these creatures? Where do they come from, and what is their history? For example, durzogs are called intelligent: more-so than goblins. Does that include the possibility of a Durzog society of sorts? Are Durzogs related to Kagouti and Alits? Are they ONLY seen around goblins? Where do they originate? Thesame questions apply to all of the creatures listen, with some extras for things like the nix-hounds -- are they mammalian? Reptilian? Insectoid?

Thanks. ^^

It would make a good fan-fic study, then you'd be able to make it up and it doesn't actually have to be factual.

There isn't really so much information about any creatures out yet, unfortunately.

I'm not sure there's much information on those. Other than the fact that they're generally hostile.

None of the creatures you listed are slimy dammit.

that being said the UESP pages are probably your best bet. Search TIL maybe?

I always just assumed the durzog vs. goblin intelligence thing was hyperbole. It could very well be legit though.

I think Durzogs are pretty slimy, probably. I mean, they're called "sludgepuppies" and listed as "sludgeworms" in the CS's Sound Gen screen. Also, I like Dreugh, which are certainly slimy.

I like Durzogs enough to say it MIGHT not be hyperbole. They certainly are strong and fast, intelligence would round it out nicely.
