How about electric eels.
and an Oniokamiioki.
I think those would be great creatures to add.

I agree, especially raptors, they and crocs would be very out of place, sea serpents, and sharks would be alright.

Well we have lizard people in TES, unlike argonians they are semi-sentient
In new. better graphics they could look like humonoid crocodile/t-rex mix

also feel free to post the types of creatures you would like to see, and if you'd be so kind as to tell us why. You may include mystical creatures, insects, animals, and arachnids.

I have a nice list of creatures in here.

I would like to see most, if not all of them.

I agree that would be a great addition to the game. I'm hoping for beautiful snow elves.

Wampas (on the mountains), tauntauns (food for the wampas), 3PO-series protocol droids (in homes, as servants), R2-series astromech droids (as helpers to smiths and a few ancient ones in the Dwemer ruins), Wookiees (in tree homes in the pine forest), Ewoks (in another pine forest), Rancor (one in a large dungeon under a tavern), Bith (musicians in the taverns), Mon Calamari (one in Riften named Ackbar who will help lead the fight against Alduin with a Redguard named Lando), Trandoshan (slavers), and Twi'lek (dancers in the taverns). Would anybody like to add anything?

You're likely joking, but in all seriousness these things would be implementable, not exactly as is of course. A rancor like monster and ewok like creatures, musicians, slavers, dancers, and dwemer servant droids.

Has anyone ever played the old roguelike "Moria" or one of its variants (Umoria, Angband, Tangband, Zangband, Tome)?

In Moria specifically there was something called the "Monster Memory." Kind of a lame name but essentially it allowed you to recall information about any of the creatures you had previously come in contact with. You wouldn't know everything about a creature right off the bat, though; you would have to spend some time in its vicinity in order to learn how it moved, you had to be hit by it in order to learn about its attacks, and you had to kill dozens of a kind of enemy in order to learn its resistances, health, and strengths. I would love to have something like this in Skyrim, but I think it's just a little too detailed and not a feature that enough players would appreciate.

As for specific creatures, it would be great to see a few high-end creatures that are actually more powerful than dragons in remote places of the world. The top three on my wish list would be:

Hydrae: Multi-headed aquatic monsters infesting swamps and bogs, cut off a head and five more grow back!

Ancient Wyrms: older even than dragons, these slimy limbless abominations inhabit the miry deep places of the world.

Sea serpent: bane of hapless sailors, etc. etc.

edit: And let's skip the sharks, but replace em with orcas! or narwhals!

As much as I like orcas....I don't want to kill them. On the monster memory though I like the idea, as long it isn't like a statistical table, it seems skyrim is shying from things like that.

About the bestiary, there should just be some book series in a book store that accomplishes this. For example, look at the manual of arms book in Oblivion. While it only discussed brief overviews of different classifications, a series of books discussing different creatures could and I believe should be implemented
